I had a difficult time managing the scope of Design for All Learners. Some of you have jokingly mentioned this. Yes, I know the book is nearly 600 pages. I know it probably won't be easy to fit it in your suitcase when you leave a conference. But when it comes to accessibility and inclusion, how many stories would be enough to understand the experiences of others? Is it just a few? Hundreds? Thousands?

There are so many stories that I didn't get to include. Almost every person I talk to has their own story to share! But after turning in the last edits, I had an idea. What if we continued sharing stories after the book was published?

I believe that learning from lived experiences is one of the most powerful ways to help us make the world a more inclusive, accessible place. So, we are going to start a blog series of stories to share here in the Design for All Learners community!

What You Can Do Right Away

Are you willing to share a story from your own accessibility and inclusion journey? Or, is there a story or article you've read that helped you personally? I hope you'll consider sharing with us to be part of this series.

How Many Stories Does it Take?
